Is there any links provided by blizzard etc. to download the full version of the game online? I have a mac OS X and I just haven't gone out to purchase the game but have been thinking of getting it soon.
I just wondered because I know other games such as EQ have been available to dowload from the computer

No WoW is not a freeware... thats sad  You really have to buy it on store and all version are compatible with macs.

the game is 4-5GB, imagine the load on the servers for providing this upload
And the time it will take for the user to get it
I download the CoH beta and the singe GB took me 3 days

now there is a freeware site to download games such as WOW,Conquer,EQ,EVE,Guild Wars,The Matrix Online,Star Wars Galaxies.
