I'd just like to say that i'm so glad I got this game for free. Why? I'd be better off using that 50 bucks as fuel in my wood stove then buying this.
Graphics 8.5/10.0: The game's only real strong point. The character models have been improved, but almost everything else is the same.
Gameplay: 1.5/10.0: Ugh! The gameplay is terrible. The plotline is distorted completely from the movie, there are very few levels, there are three sorry-*** reskins they decided to call secret characters, and beyond all that, there's the difficulty. I dont mean difficulty as in a challenge, I mean it as in physically impossible. Be prepared to by a spare keyboard or a spare controller is you decide the rent this one.
Sound 7.0/10.0: The music is decent, and thats it
Replay Value 3.0/10.0: None really to speak of. 3 stupid secret characters that are just reskins.
Multiplayer 1.0/10.0: Co-op was probably put it on the last day of development because it's dreadful, and since the money whores at EA eagerly sold out to Communist Sony, they're no online, NOT EVEN ON THE PC!
Overall: 4.5/10.0: Terrible. Unspeakably terrible.

I played the GC version of it, damn I just hated the freakin views.
That game was waaay too frusterating, and not even in a way in which you would want to play it again. |

Great films turned into games are seldom a success. Theyre just trying to sell them because lots of poeple automatically buy them because the movie is so great, so they think the game must be great. Typically mothers buying games for their kids.
Anyway, the LOTR games really suck !. |
