| My paladin has a range slot empty as if like the design of the character has intended for paladin to use range weapon (i.e. bow, gun..etc.) |

Most classes can learn other weapons using weapons masters
my warrior learned to use a bow, my brothers a gun.
Check the weaponsmasters
