I think some changes should be made to make WoW seem more like the World of WC. These are just suggestions of what I think would make the game better, not gripes or bashes.

1. Character models - Why do all the classes of a given race almost look identical? Why would a shaman be a huge brute like a warrior? Elf Druids look nothing like any druid I saw in WC3. More variety in physical build and in clothing is needed I think.

More models too. I mean an Orc Shaman should look something like a WC3 shaman. Troll priests should look like Witch Doctors.

2. Racial skills - Why would an undead priest have the same spells as a human priest. I think they should have some common skills, but I think it would add more variety to the game if each class has a few skills that were unique to the race you chose. At least make 1 or 2 skills similar but different at the least, so that all warriors get a special rage based attack, but that special attack does different types of damage (arcane, nature, etc) based on its race.

3. Death runs much shorter. I don't mind the death system but sometimes the runs can be quite long. It gets frustrating sometimes.

4. More NPCs - There should be more NPCs in town that you can chat with, some that could give us quick tips or hints like "have you been to Darnassus? My friend wants me to go there and ride Hippogryphs with him to Auberdine."

5. NPCs with audio - So many games use audio on NPCs instead of text. Even WC3 had some cut scenes with audio, at the start, end and in the middle of many quests. Why all text now? Even simple greeting and farewell message would spice it up a bit.

6. larger action bar - Blizzard did a great job on the user interface, but adding one more row to the action bar for more hotkeyable spells, buffs, etc. would help a lot. I know there is a mod out there that lets you do this, but I think it should be standard. Ten slots seems puny after a while.

7. Bigger groups - The limit now is 4 (or 5, can't remember). That seems really small. I'm used to 10 in Shadowbane.

There are just a few ideas I had that I think might make the game tie into WC3 more. What do you guys think would make the game better?

Overall, great game. I can't wait for the final release.

if they ever did make new races they would be the blood elf and the goblin, cause i see goblins EVERYwhere in areas like ratchet and booty bay and blood elves are the only alliance thing i could think of...stupid bastard elf that i had to lead out of a huge fortress... that was a pain.. but i had a good group of friends to help and got some nice items.

Yeah but i think ogres would be better than goblins cause goblins are small they couldnt hurt a thing. ogres are huge and theyd murder allot because theyd smash them.

True True, ogres love to smash things, but didnt they also have ogre mages which would also be cool to be able to choose in the game.

The High Elves would be another cool race to play as a Mage or Wizard Wink
