Public Test Realms Now Open!

Players can participate in the test realms by creating a character or by copying their characters from existing realms to the test realms. Those who have previously copied their characters to the test realms will need to do so again, as all previous characters have been removed from the test realms. Please be aware that the test realms allow us to conduct a broad test of major content patches, and based on the results of the public test, further changes may be introduced before a patch goes live. We'd like to thank all of our players who are participating in helping us test the new content patch, and we look forward to seeing you in game!

Logging into the Public Test Realms
To keep the testing process manageable, not all accounts will be eligible to log on to the public test realms during the first week of public testing. The criteria for participating on the test realms in the first week is that the player must have logged in to the live service sometime after April 10, and the player's account must have been created before May 9.

We want to allow players who fall outside these criteria to experience the new content being tested on the public test realms as well, so if you are not eligible to participate during the first week of testing, please log in to the live service by Sunday, May 15, and you should be able to join the public test realms from the second week of testing on. The current plan is for the public test to last several weeks to fully test all aspects of the upcoming Battlegrounds content.

Please be aware that all players, regardless of account activity, will be able to copy characters to the test realms at any time, and we encourage you to do so ahead of time.
