World of Warcraft Spells and Skills FAQ
How do I improve my skills?
Your skills will get more powerful as you use them.
Will some skills be very hard to learn?
Yes, you may have to find a hidden trainer or complete a difficult quest to obtain some high level skills.
Do spells take time to cast?
Yes, but there will be differing lengths. Powerful spells will take a longer time to prepare and cast, so it will be best to use a disabling spell on your enemy first.
Do spells have a cool down time between uses?
Yes, you won't be able to simply spam spells at monsters
Will there be area of effect or crowd control type spells?
Yes, there will be many different types of spells.
What are some known tradeskills?
Tradeskills include Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Herbalism and Mining.
Will there be more tradeskills?
Yes, Blizzard hopes to have a wide selection when it comes to tradeskills.
How do tradeskills improve?
Tradeskills will improve with use.
Will certain rituals affect groups of enemies instead of one enemy?
It's very possible that some ritual spells will have an area of effect.
Will ritual spells be only for offensive magic, or can they be used for mass healing as well?
Rituals will have a variety of uses.
Will everyone doing the ritual spell have to be the same class? (i.e Will Mages only be able to do a spell with other Mages?)
At this moment this is unknown, but it would certainly make things more interesting if different classes could combine their powers into a ritual spell.
